In our team - the Diagnostics Architecture group - we enable Scania and Traton to offer products with the diagnostic capabilities that keeps our products up to date, and on the road at all times. Together we analyze the needs and make sure that the architecture provides a robust and manageable electrical system for sustainable transportation, electrification, connectivity, and autonomous vehicle solutions of the future.

Your future job:

We are looking for a person that will share his/her time between two roles; one being the software update vehicle type owner for the software update regulations, and the second being a Systems Architect for diagnostics.

As a Software update Vehicle type owner, your work is an important element in in Scania’s fulfillment of the UNECE R156 Software update regulation and the Chinese equivalent.

Your workday will among other things contain:

  • discussions with type approval authorities
  • interpret regulations
  • monitor the changes made in the vehicle to see if it affects the vehicle type
  • answer detailed technical questions from on-board system owners and suppliers
  • arrange tests on vehicles

As a Systems Architect for diagnostics, your work is an important element in the further development of Scania’s and Traton’s electrical system. The focus is in the future, to realize capabilities, tools and methods for diagnostics and uptime by developing system design and selecting technical solutions. The team consists of people not only from Scania, but also from MAN and Navistar.

Your workday will among other things contain:

  • concept development for diagnostics
  • diagnostics communication
  • writing specifications
  • discussing with suppliers

Your profile:

You have a college or university degree in engineering and at least three years’ professional experience within embedded systems. Architecture experience in development of embedded systems is an advantage, and so is experience in vehicle diagnostics. You are fluent in both written and spoken English.

You are driven, cooperative and take responsibility.
