Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
- Development and enhancement of professional relationship with leading HCPs through scientific communication
- Proactively identify HCPs with high levels of scientific expertise in local treatment practice to collaborate on specific medical-marketing activities
- Development and management of KOL engagement plan
- Develop own scientific knowledge for discussion on all aspects of the data to be shared with KOLs in a scientific and objective way through 1:1 discussions as well as group meetings
- Attend at 3rd party organized medical congress and disease training programs to keep abreast of medical and scientific knowledge
- Establish scientific leadership of Baxter products with scientific activities for HCPs
- Organize/coordinate and participate scientific activities that help advance disease understanding such as medical education activities, medical advisory boards, and other scientific exchange meetings
- High quality scientific communication through presentations in academic society meetings (e.g. act as a speaker at local nephrology society meetings)
- Manage medical affairs clinical trial activities including investigator-initiated research (IIR) and publication related activities (abstracts, posters, case studies and peer reviewed papers)
- Facilitate communication between Baxter global team and local investigators for quality data generation in aligning with product or therapeutic area strategy.
- Collect regular progress reports and AE reports in a timely manner to ensure all clinical programs are run properly
- Medical & scientific support for internal stakeholders (commercial)
- Act as scientific expert in therapeutic areas for internal customers and cross functional team
- Provide disease training with an understanding and knowledge on clinical practice, trends, perceived gaps, therapy updates.
- Provide scientific support at Baxter sponsored promotional events, exhibition/booth activities
- Support market research & interpretation
- Plan medical objectives and plans aligning with product strategy, and provide scientific support for the development of brand plans
- Review and approve promotional materials and product materials such as manuals and guidebooks to be compliant and scientifically sound
- Respond to medical information queries from internal & external stakeholders
