Your role at Baxter

The Project Manager for Serialization will drive the implementation of market specific Serialization and UDI regulations within the impacted manufacturing facilities and supply chain networks, enforcing Baxter defined standards/documentation. They will work closely with functional leaders / stakeholders including Integrated Supply Chain, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, Labeling, Finance and Segment leadership to ensure alignment of activities related to the country specific compliance dates.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage day-to-day Project Management activities for Serialization and UDI programs
  • Identification and scoping of new regulations related to serialization and UDI and assessment of changes to existing regulations
  • Manage projects on a cross functional basis, including oversight of project team members.
  • Identifying and resolving complex problems, engaging the right resources as needed.
  • Identify resources needed and develop project plan, influence partners to gain project support, and lead project team.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gain commitment, inspire change, and ultimately get results
  • Work closely with multiple local manufacturing site Project Managers and engineers in geographically diverse locations to monitor project timelines, scope and deliverables and roll-up project status to the work stream lead.
  • Lead project teams of stakeholders that do not have a direct line of accountability
  • Communicate / present project status to management & partners
  • Analyze complex data with the understanding of trade-offs between different business objectives, present recommendations, and implement solutions
  • Assist in execution of Project Lessons Learned sessions. Assess lessons and integrate/update current playbooks and processes accordingly.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years project/program management experience with demonstrated success leading multi-site, global or enterprise-wide programs in the medical products and/or pharmaceutical industry including validation/qualification experience
  • 1 -3 years of matrix management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with matrix management experience required. Independent, with the ability to problem solve using “out of the box” thinking while influencing team members to do the same.
  • Strong financial and business insight

  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Thorough, up to date knowledge of multiple subject areas required.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $96,000-$132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
