What’s the job? Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager or Shift Leader, the Maintenance Electrician will troubleshoot, repair, maintain and improve electrical / automation systems with the intent of improving uptime and efficiency. · Safety Comply: LOTO, PPE, PERMITS, Confine Space, first aid, CPR, and all other Safety Rules. Input and feedback on improvements for Safety issues, forms, other items. Fill out safety work permits. · Maintenance CMMS: Creating notifications time confirmations. Update and create WO instruction in the system, creating purchase requestions (PR’s) · Knowledge: Perform task, self - supportive. Able to work alone and with others and contractors. Use manuals, read, and navigate with electrical schematics for troubleshooting or implement corrective actions. Know how to search for parts and tools, and how to relay request. Prepare/ plan for task, gather parts, tools, and equipment ahead of time. · Troubleshooting: Well familiar with all equipment. Recognize different components, able to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and process issues · Electrical: Component Replacements, able to find and substitute basic electrical parts (Contacts, relays, breakers, motors, wiring for three phases, VFDs, able to recognize I/O card or component issue, voltage issues, and other electrical components. Basic knowledge and understanding of the equipment instrumentation (flow, pressure, weight, and temperature transmitters) · Personal Development: Taking ownership for the tools, assigned areas, equipment, or system, showing initiative for your grow and success of our team. · Use instrumentation (Multi-meter, Oscilloscope, Megger baker, Circuit tracers, sensor tester, infrared thermometer/camera, laser alignment, vibration meter) to perform inspection, monitor and troubleshooting equipment · WCM Tools: Write Tags, Input, and active participation with EWO Process or Quick Kaizen activity, maintain and improve 5S housekeeping standard, understand technical KPI’s (Availability, Technical Reliability, Yield, Time Between Failure, Time between repair, Plan execution accuracy) · Operation knowledge of: o Machine Shop Equipment: Band Saw, Drill Press, Milling, Lathes, Welders, Grinders, Hydraulic Press, etc. o Mobile Equipment: Carts, Forklifts, Air compressors, Telehandler, Aerial lifts, etc. o Facility Equipment: Power Generator, Chillers, Boilers, Fans, Cranes, Fire System, Pumps etc. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties performed occasionally or in addition to essential duties.) · Assist other teams with reactive process problem solving as priorities dictate · Able to place orders for tools and other items need to perform job · Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. · Actively participates/contributes on one WCM Pillar as assigned. Meets expectations of Pillar Leader. · Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/seminars/training as required. · Routinely meets with assigned team to freely discuss recommendations/suggestions for improvement and openly receives feedback targeted to improve the performance of the business. · Performs other related duties that contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervisor/manager · Must be able to flex hours to support 24-7 operations; occasional overtime – voluntary or required to meet deadlines or objective

What do you bring? MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED · Requires a high school diploma or GED. · Two to five (2-5) years of professional experience with such as automated control systems, safety qualifications, and professional industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment. · Requires adaptability, methodical/analytical problem-solving skills, and employee leadership skills with the ability to effectively apply these skills in a manufacturing facility. · Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment. · Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations. · Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions. · Team player with good interpersonal skills; written and verbal communication skills to work effectively in corporate, manufacturing and team environments. · Demonstrated proficiency with the computer and Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook. PREFERRED OR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS · Associate degree program in electrical related field, or completion of Registered Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program · Experience with Allen Bradly electrical components and PLC control systems · Familiarity with Lean/WCM principles and practices · Demonstrated proficiency in Safety programs to include but not limited to: Lockout/Tagout, Permit to Work, Confined Space, Electrical Work, Working at Heights
