WARD COUNTY HUMAN SERVICE ZONE - Minot ND

Ward County Human Service Zone (WCHSZ) supports a blended workplace model which embraces home-based remote employment, dependent on the position. For remote positions, employee must be available to be in the office in Minot ND as needed and directed to do so by the Supervisor and/or Director. 

Summary of Work

Carry out day to day human resource functions including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, providing payroll support, maintaining accurate personnel records and documents, performing administrative processes and advising team members on policy and procedures. This position serves as liaison between Zone team members and State and County human resources partners and provides support to Zone administration and leadership. The Human Resource Generalist may be called upon to provide direct supervision to Administrative Assistant positions. 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in human resources, management, business or related field; OR a high school diploma/equivalent and at least four years of experience in a related field. Demonstrated experience in human resources and administrative support is required. 

Preference will be given to candidates with (S)PHR or SHRM-(S)CP Certification.
