Job Description

R&D Engineering Technician – Plymouth, MN

The Philips Image Guided Therapy business group. This business is responsible for integrating best in class imaging solutions with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic devices, to deliver a unique portfolio designed to help our customers conquer the most complex procedures. Seamless solutions engineered to help healthcare providers to decide, guide, treat and then confirm the right care for every patient in real time.

Your role:

  • Work directly with engineers to quickly build or assemble prototype components, subassemblies, and assemblies.
  • Work with engineers to develop new test methods and/or modify existing methods, as well as construct, operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, and maintain test equipment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation through development, testing and analysis.

You're the right fit if:

  • Ten years of medical device intracardiac or intravascular catheter prototyping experience
  • Mechanical Drafting, Design, or Engineering Technology two-year technical degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in intracardiac or intravascular catheter fabrication and testing preferred
  • Computer skills including intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
