JOB PURPOSE
The Sustainable Manufacturing Project Manager (APAC) will support in the regional implementation of our Sustainable Manufacturing programmes, which cover energy, water, chemicals and waste.
Reporting to the Sustainable Manufacturing Manager leading the implementation of our programmes in APAC, you will seamlessly work alongside our Programme Leads for each of the sustainability areas to deliver on the Team’s objectives. Working with a fully remote team, this role requires an autonomous and self-driven individual with excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills and a can-do attitude to deliver impact through a constant lookout for new possibilities and problem solving.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Completing Water Assessment of key partners, as part of our Water Conservation Programme. This will entail the evaluation of their water management practices, along with their water risk and water intensity.
o Support partners in the achievement of ZDHC’s Supplier to Zero, as part of our Chemical Management Programme, raising awareness and understanding of Burberry’s and ZDHC’s requirements. Support your key partners in the completion of RCA and Corrective Action Plans in the event of Non-Conformities against our PRSL or MRSL.
o Connect and engage with key partner in Energy Efficiency and decarbonations projects as identified by the Energy Programme Lead.
o Work closely with Finished Goods Vendors to map and identify key opportunities for reducing and revaluing waste.
