Job Description

  • Functional
  • Works with region and internal teams (Project Managers, Project Engineers/ Admin / Product support/ Purchasing, Warehouse, Manufacturing Plants) on effective end to end Procurement Cyle and ensuring Material deliveries ordered and receipted on-time.
  • Develop internal competency to create and deliver functional excellence.
  • Build the right support structure to address & support business growth.
  • Drive and execute Continuous Improvement initiatives / Lean Six Sigma programs, in identifying wastes / process improvements. Do more with less.
  • Enhance customer engagement & ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage & leverage the resources across the team to enable seamless support for different regions.
  • Ensure deliverables provided by the function are delivered within acceptable quality on time and on budget with high levels of Internal Customer Satisfaction.
  • Manages utilization of all on rolls and contract resources in the Team.
  • Manage team performance and hygiene, to develop team capability and create future leaders.
  • Support best practice sharing and knowledge transfer among teams to improve competency of function.
  • Assess and develop competency and capabilities among the team. Encourages multi-skilling within the team to ensure better utilization.
  • Plan to build skill levels and capacity to deliver across various platforms for e.g., SAP /IFS / Microsoft Tools.
  • Execute processes in compliance with established SOPs and guidelines. Performs a wide variety of Project administration duties for assigned team(s) globally.
  • Monitor monthly progress on Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and publish necessary reports required by management and various regional stakeholders as per the established cadence.
  • Contribute in Root cause analysis for any deviation highlighted by the regional stakeholders, required documentation of the said deviations and responding to audit processes as & when required.
  • Responsible for following all applicable corporate, company, governmental, environmental, safety, quality and regulatory policies and procedures as appropriate for this position.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary technical, financial and commercial information.
  • Lead in the engagement of Audit preparations and Audits (SOX / ISO etc) with Auditors and ensure compliance / adherence to actions on exceptions.
  • Establish and execute clear Issue to Resolution (I2R) process, for escalation management.
  • Drive Quality Control as the core.

  • Quality of Deliverables, Activities & Transactions; Customer satisfaction, Global Voices
  • Compliance of Business Processes in alignments with Quality Management System.
  • Performance data / KPIs aligned with agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Competency development of team, including Talent Development & Succession Planning
  • Measure and exceed the metrics of Quality, Speed, Productivity
  • Progress of Objective Key Results for each fiscal year.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education

  • Full Time Graduate in any stream; Bachelor / Masters Business Administration
  • Domain Knowledge on Supply Chain, Procurement Cycle, Customer Order entry, Bill of Materials Management, Project Material Planning, Purchase Requisitioning, 3-way match (Order, Goods Receipt, Invoicing), Purchase Order, Material setup in ERP
  • Preferably 8-10+ years of relevant experience in Business Operations Management, Full Lifecycle Projects delivering Project Management Organization. At least 4+ years of People Management, Directly managing a Team of Independent Contributors
  • Sound knowledge around various business systems (SAP/IFS) as relevant for Project Administration / Procure-to-Pay / Order-to-Cash.
  • Exposure to backend Business Processes / Administration in Project life cycle in Operations Support.
  • Should have exposure to Global Work style, engagement with Clients sitting at remote locations, across different Time Zones.
  • Willing to work in flexible business shifts including US CT time zone to drive business stakeholder connect.
  • Expertise to drive and improve Key Metrics: On-Time Requisitioning, BOM Closure, Promise Delivery Date to Closure, Overdue materials ageing, Excess Inventory Checks.
  • High level of expertise in Formulating Processes and Application Knowledge. Should be reasonably strong in being analytical and diagnose problems, with relevant business acumen.
  • High level of expertise in Project and Stakeholder Management. Good level of expertise of Lean Six Sigma Skill, Quality Management and Training Skills. Exposure and understanding of RPA / BOT technologies. LSS Greenbelt Certified preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of MS Office Tools, databases etc.
  • Very good communication skills in English language
