Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Adhere to the change management process for any planned maintenance, or when potential issues are identified.
  • Coordinate vendor-specific support and problem resolution.
  • Adhere to Micron’s established processes and policies.
  • Provide 24x7 rotational shift and On-Call technical support and expertise for customer issues and service provider escalation.
  • Willing to work in shifts based on business requirements.
  • Establish and implement policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure conformance.
  • Define and adhere to established service and operational level agreements.
  • Adhere to Organization security policies for all managed services.
  • Providing Level 1 storage and data backup support and work under the guidance of L2 and L3 team.

Qualifications and Experience

2 years of experience in managing storage & backup solutions, preferably.

  • Hands-on experience in NetApp Cluster Mode and in both NAS and SAN configurations. Additional NetApp technologies such as snapshots, snapmirror, snapvault, are desired.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues, such as NetApp NFS and SMB permission issues, volume and Inode full alerts, basic troubleshooting steps using tools like grafana for any performance related issues.
  • Managing Fiber channel Cisco SAN switches, creating zones and mapping of hosts.
  • Storage LUN allocation and deallocation of LUNs, Masking of LUNs on VMAX and Pure storage.
  • Managing data backup and recovery through TSM (spectrum protect) application suite which includes new backup commission, decommission & backup failure troubleshooting.
  • Conduct periodical restoration of backup data.
  • Having any cloud foundation certification is preferrable.
  • Collaborating with other IT staff, such as system administrators, to ensure overall IT storage and backup infrastructure is running smoothly.

Education: Any Graduate

Experience: 0- 2 Yrs.
