Job Purpose

The primary objective of this position is to provide support to the Clearing Systems Analysis team based in our London office. As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will play a vital role within the team, focusing on the design, development, and deployment of ICE's derivatives products and services, particularly within the Futures and Options markets. You will take the lead in translating business and product requirements into system specifications, encompassing functional specifications, use cases, and logical flow modeling.

As the main liaison for requirements between business/product teams and software development, you will analyze and articulate requirements while ensuring the accuracy of their implementation according to the product specifications. With ICE's products, data, and technology services gaining increasing significance to our customers, ISVs, Data Vendors, and third-party licensees of ICE technology, your role will be pivotal in delivering our products and customer-facing technology solutions within a high-pressure environment characterized by tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

The Systems Analyst will:

• Be the primary facilitator responsible for defining and documenting software requirements for large-scale development projects.
• Spearhead internal projects and coordinate with internal teams such as Treasury, Risk, Operations, Technology, Compliance etc., to streamline operational processes as well as ensure adherence to all internal policies and regulations.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, reviews and issue resolution involving multiple stakeholders, jurisdictions, and time zones.
• Assess the impact new systems and features have on existing systems and communicate those impacts to the appropriate internal teams and stakeholders, and to the external member and vendor community.
• Enforce change-control procedures to ensure requirements changes are approved by stakeholders and clearly communicated to the release team.
• Assist the management of ICE Clear Europe with strategic projects related to business growth, investment management and operational efficiencies.
• Develop analysis artifacts including use-cases, activity diagrams, user-interface schematics, business rules, technical specifications, process flows, and API documentation.
• Proactively identify, report, and minimize risks to the project.
• Support the technical development and quality-assurance efforts.
• Assist project management with prioritization and tracking the implementation of system requirements.
• Develop relationships with Vendors and Clearing Members to foster a dialogue to improve day to day processes and obtain input and feedback on potential new products as well as product and process enhancements.
• Provide assistance to Member Test Support team for ad-hoc tasks (e.g. environment checks).

Knowledge and Experience

• Systems/business analysis, quality assurance, or related experience.
• Experience using iterative development methodologies such as RUP and/or Agile.
• Financial Background experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with Trading, Clearing, or related industry highly preferred; familiarity with regulatory aspects a plus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven organizational skills with strong commitment to customer service and product delivery.

• Experience working on technology / business change data programmes is highly advantageous.
• Experience creating Tableau dashboards is highly desirable. 
• Experience executing database queries for data analysis is highly desirable.
• Experience with user interface design, and the latest web technologies a plus.
• Experience with API development (particularly XML, FiXML, and/or FpML) a plus.
