Key Responsibilities:  

As a Business Analyst for commerce, you will be responsible for analysing business processes and identifying areas for improvement within a mainly headless Commerce space. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop solutions with the tech team, and implement changes that drive business growth.  

As a Business Analyst at VML, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different industries. You will use your analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can help our clients make better business decisions. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.  

What you will do as a Business Analyst:  

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope 
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to drive consensus and decision-making  
  • Identify and evaluate potential solutions, including cost-benefit analysis  
  • Design and document business processes and workflows  
  • Connect all different disciplines to get the most value out of all expertise collaboration in or cross team (Omni-channel, UX/UI Design, SEO, Data, Tech, Integrations and other) 
  • Develop and maintain project documentation 
  • Support project implementation and change management activities 

Who you are:  

  • Facilitator | Preparing and leading in workshops & interviews, to understand the business, product structures and commerce business processes.
  • Analytic minded | You focus on gathering clients’ business needs, challenging, advising and translating them to requirements on a product backlog 
  • Leadership | You can govern multiple projects running simultaneously, coaching and collaborating with project teams, overseeing program scope together with the technical architect. 
  • Collaborator | Prepare and facilitate project teams to deliver projects on time and in budget, managing stakeholders on program level 

What you'll need:  

The basics  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field  
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role  
  • Working experiences in B2B or B2C commerce environments consisting of (headless) commerce platforms, frontends (heads), Search, CMS, data tools, integrations with ERP, OMS, MA and other commerce related applications.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)  
  • Currently residing in The Netherlands and with a valid work permit 

Bonus points  

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field  
  • Experience with UX/UI design & implementation (Figma, Zeplin or other)
  • Experience working in a consulting environment

  • A salary range of €5,401 - €6,559 gross/month, based on experience.
  • A gross annual 8% holiday allowance pay.
