Role overview

We are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join our international team. The person in this position will participate in assessing credit risk and preparing risk profiles for new and existing clients. The position requires strong financial analysis skills, high self-motivation, and a willingness to learn new skills and gain knowledge for different businesses.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Identifies the risks associated with new clients and establishes their overall risk profile.
  • Performs financial analysis and credit risk assessment of new clients.
  • Defines and proposes the credit risk approach for assessment of new clients during the onboarding process.
  • Prepares estimations for collateral conditions.
  • Prepares credit risk reports for new and existing clients.
  • Performs periodical reviews of existing clients and updates their credit risk profile, including financial analysis, exposure estimation and collateral.
  • Performs regular monitoring on existing clients in relation to credit risk matters.
  • Demonstrates ability to identify potential credit risk issues that need escalation and escalate them promptly.
  • Assists in the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years working experience in a similar role.
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics - mandatory.
  • Experience in business and financial analysis (Balance sheet, Income statement, Cash flow statement, etc.) - mandatory.
  • Understanding of credit risk assessment models.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues and follow resolution.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous experience in credit risk or risk management will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in English - both verbal and written.
  • Teamwork spirit and ability to keep deadlines.
