Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and document business requirements translating them to actional plans and solutions.
  • Work with business teams to define requirements for migration, data quality and ad hoc reporting needs.
  • Formalize a data architecture specification that can be used by the data engineering team for deployment standards.
  • Lead identification of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and services that can be re-used to pursue consistency, cost reduction, and create standardization.
  • Conduct technical review of overall solution to ensure consistency and adherence of best practices.
  • Advocate and communicate the adherence of defined ETL best practices’ architecture strategy.
  • Proactively monitor technology and determine potential impact and value to the enterprise.
  • Identify opportunities for key data improvement in creation, updates, and removal.
  • Recommend solutions to streamline operations, increase data value, and reduce costs across the data lifecycle.
  • Analyze and estimate feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware/other programs.
  • Research and evaluate software/hardware to assist in the implementation of Company’s Master Data Management Program.
  • Consult with developers to prototype, refine, test and debug applications to meet the business data process needs.
  • Gather business and legal data requirements and support governance processes for use across the data lifecycle.
  • Execute and monitor archiving processes and support any configuration required to archive data.
  • Work with IT department to ensure proper storage is available for archiving.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field, along with 4 plus years of Master Data Quality experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.

Remote Work: Crown offers hybrid remote work for this position. A reasonable commute is necessary as some onsite work is required. Relocation assistance is available.
