The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a dedicated All-round Wearhouse Operative to join our growing team in Tilburg.

Are you a team player with a passion for logistics? Do you like to be in contact with different parties and do you want to be part of an international organization? Then we are looking for you!

In this role you will work at our site in Tilburg from Monday to Friday. You will receive a full-time contract of 1 year, which will be extended after a positive evaluation.

The team

You will be part of a friendly team that supports collaboration. Together you are part of our Operations group, which ensures the effectiveness of our operational procedures.

What we are looking for

• Education: High school studies completed
• Experience: Do you already have experience in logistics/warehousing or are you looking for your first job? We are open to both!
• Language skills: Good command of Dutch and English.
• Qualifications:
• Independent, steadfast and daring to make decisions.
• Good communication skills
• Good skills in MS Office, mainly with Outlook
• Previous working knowledge with internal software such as EXACT is a plus
• Knowledge of MHE (pallet jack, forklift) is required

How you will thrive and make an impact

• You will become our customers' point of contact for logistics and ensure efficient and timely communication via emails
• Receiving, recording, unpacking, stocking and quality control of engineering components
• Assist with inbound and outbound shipments and transport and deliver goods
• Placing and tracking orders and managing inventory records
• Loading/unloading trucks, stacking bags, handling products, palletizing
• Operates forklifts and handcarts
• Moves material, operates equipment, maintains associated logs
