Creating business intelligence from data requires an understanding of the business, the data, and the technology used to store and analyse that data. Using our Rapid Business Intelligence Solutions, data visualisation and integrated reporting dashboards, we can deliver agile, highly interactive reporting and analytics that help our clients to more effectively run their business and understand what business questions can be answered and how to unlock the answers.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts
Concept of data warehousing, difference with traditional databases, difference with data lake
Data Model concepts , facts and dimension, measures and references, normalization and denormalization
Knowledge of data warehouse fundamentals, indexes, views and materialized views
Incremental data loading concepts, change data capture, row level and column level security fundamentals.
SQL concepts, fundamental and moderate – Different types of joins and aggregations, analytical functions, data time and typecasting functions, grouping logic
Understanding of ETL Process of Power BI using power query and power automate
Depth knowledge of data transformation in Power BI power query
Exception handling in an ETL process, checkpoints, and rerun scenarios
Power BI incremental data loading process set up knowledge.
Scheduling and event triggers in ETL
Proficient in development using Power BI
Proficient in data analysis using different visualization.
Usages of buttons, bookmarks, custom tables
Depth knowledge on data modeling approach
Expert in usages of various DAX functions
Knowledge of Power BI copilot and NLQ function
Knowledge of Row level security
Knowledge of apps and dashboards
Knowledge of gateway configuration
Experience (good to have):
Knowledge of different tools in fabric
Experience of azure synapse, GBQ, SQL server
Experience of any other BI tool
Data Quality and MDM concepts, data quality
Pharma domain knowledge
Experience (Must have)
10+ years of IT experience in DWH and Reporting projects
Must have 5 + years of experience of Power BI report implementation.
Must have SQL knowledge.
Must have data modeling knowledge.
Strong client management experience
