Relationship & Transaction Management (RTM) Role

Relationship & Transaction Management is a core part of the Corporate Bank delivering best-in-class service to our corporate and financial institution clients worldwide.

RTM Securities Services (SeS) role specializes in the area of managing onshore and cross-border client relationship including farming, acting as the escalation point for service issues, and maintaining high service standards to clients. This will include conducting regular service reviews and provide detailed, timely and up to date information on client relationships, highlighting issues as appropriate. The ability to identify and ensure the effective implementation of ongoing service improvement initiatives; and, working with other departments within the bank are also key to this role.

Your key responsibilities:

The individual is appointed to play roles in managing clients’ relationship related to Core Custody products and also becoming escalation point for Global Securities Operations (GSO) for any issue that require client’s involvement.

General responsibilities of the SeS RTM are:

  • Manage and service institutional foreign and domestic clients on core custody product ranges
  • Complete clients’ regular service reviews, due diligence questionnaires and visit.
  • Lead and manage Service Level Agreement (SLA) with clients and make any revision to the SLA whenever necessary.
  • Assisting the Accountable Client Officer (ACO) in performing KYC process to clients.
  • Working with market information officer to ensure timely update to clients on latest market developments and product initiatives.
  • Work closely with Sales and Product Management team when there is any new products or enhancements to the current services to client.
  • Work closely with Operations team within the bank (i.e. GSO, GMO, GCO and CLM) in managing services to clients.
  • Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements related to custody processes in RTM and necessary. documentations in place.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your skills and experience:

  • Experience in custody business for more than 5 years
  • Have a good knowledge on banking products (i.e. Cash payments, FX and Tax)
  • Fluent in English (speaking & writing)
  • Good communication skill – since he/she will deal with clients
  • Able to work with a team
