Your role

  • train and guide the pod to complete high-quality increments that meet a definition of done while removing impediments so that the pod can deliver more effectively over time
  • motivate the pod on an agile mindset and embed Agile@UBS practices in your pod such as daily standups, sprint planning, review sessions, backlog grooming/refinement, retrospectives and reporting (e.g. sprint burndowns, burnups)
  • assist in the continuous transformation towards a completely Agile ecosystem, fostering growth, collaboration and efficiency.
  • act as a servant leader fostering self-organization, promote continuous improvement as a core value, inspiring the team to strive for excellence
  • encourage positive dialogue and cultivate a culture of transparency and creativity, where each team member feels valued and heard
  • build and maintain effective collaboration between Product Owner & Engineers within a pod
  • support the PO and pod on structuring and writing effective user stories and the capture of upfront acceptance tests
  • ensure efficient and smooth release administration, promoting quality and reliability in team

Your team

You’ll be part of a Client Reporting delivery team in Singapore, partnering with a similar team in Switzerland. We provide robust and scalable IT deliveries in Client Reporting areas using agile mode of working with a mindset around time-boxed delivery of solutions, empowerment of interdisciplinary teams and close collaboration with several stakeholders spanning across APAC and Switzerland locations

Your expertise

  • university degree or an equivalent in computer sciences or finance/economics
  • profound knowledge of the Scrum ceremonies and experience in tools such as GitLab, Confluence
  • hands-on experience in an Agile environment
  • superior leadership and team-building skills
  • excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with both technical/development teams and business stakeholders
  • experience in conflict and stakeholder management
