PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $40.05-$48.89 hourly. The full Pay Range is $31.06-$57.98 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Your work will directly contribute to creating an environment that is not only functional but also visually appealing for our employees, members, and visitors. By coordinating and performing facility maintenance, repairs, and operations, you will help to establish a welcoming and efficient atmosphere across all our locations. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Coordinate and oversee vendor-related service work: You will ensure that all service work meets organizational standards and requirements and coordinate with vendors to schedule and complete necessary tasks. This includes supporting inventory management systems and protocols for ordering supplies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support internal service request program: You will assist with the work-order system and have a thorough knowledge of the service request software program to provide effective support.
  • Manage pre-scheduled maintenance activities, tasks, inspections, and audits: You will be responsible for maintaining and providing schedules for security and publishing using approved communication methods. This includes repair, reconditioning, and preventive maintenance activities for all locations, ensuring that our facilities are always in top condition. You may need to respond to problems or issues outside of regular business hours as needed. You will be responsible for conducting regular inspections and audits on a rotating schedule to ensure that facilities meet all necessary standards.
  • Coordinate and manage operations-related projects: This may involve vendor scheduling, job cost proposals, and scheduling of work, among other tasks, to ensure the smooth completion of projects. You will work to maintain high standards of appearance across all facilities by coordinating with various vendors.
  • Support organizational physical security and disaster recovery programs: You will be involved in repairing, distributing, and tracking keys, locks, and other related access systems for secured locations and spaces. You will understand and participate in roles related to disaster recovery plans to ensure preparedness.
  • Partner with team members to cover on-call facilities needs: Provide support and vendor response on an on-call basis pending issues or problems arising during non-business hours, as needed (on rotation, typically 1 week per month).
  • Take care of the heavy lifting: Lift up to 50 pounds and demonstrate mobility to move large objects.
  • Drive between multiple BECU locations on a daily basis: Maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report in accordance with BECU’s MVR evaluation.
  • Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent education and work experience, including certification in the field of Facilities Management/Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Facilities engineering, property management, or equivalent (eg building maintenance, construction, or specific trades).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possession of electrical 07 license.
  • Project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and related drawings.
  • Experience operating laptops, smartphones, and associated software.

OTHER DETAILS:

Location: This is a floating position that will travel between multiple BECU locations as needed. The individual must be located in Washington state, ideally in King, Pierce, or Snohomish counties. Monthly onsite visits to our Tukwila headquarters are required, in addition to daily travel between necessary offices, branches and ATM kiosks.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM (including 1 hour lunch and required breaks).

Equipment: Company vehicle, tools and uniform provided by BECU.
