Relay Service Engineer

You will be working as Relay Service Engineer and will be part of Electrification business Area for Services division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Service Coordinator and will be responsible for supporting the unit in achieving the set production targets through performing workshop tasks such as troubleshooting, repair, assembly and testing in adherence to the relevant systems and processes.

Your responsibilities

• Independently handling of relay repair activity with smooth co-ordination among all stake holders
• Execution handling of relay repair activity or hardware replacement and firmware upgradation
• Maintaining proper relay repair center documentation and submitting of test certificates to customer, payment collection and dispatch activity
• Managing and coordinating with sub-vendors and service partners for smooth job execution
• Executing work as per first-time right approach and ensuring the job is done on time and as per quality standards
• Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing workshop orders as per workshop processes and guidelines
• Adhering to ABB way safety guidelines in while project or service job execution

Your background

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in related field
• Should have good knowledge on relays and various protection system
• Knowledge on the handling of various configuration tool like PCM 600, CAP500 for ABB make numerical relays
• Should have additional knowledge of handling of various digital test kit
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
