About the Role: We are looking for a Clinical Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be closely with sales team to develop and impact the positive sales growth in specific geographic area.

This is remote position, and you can work from home in Guangzhou, China where you can fulfill the duties of your role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high technical competence & knowledge (incl. competition and application)
  • Ensure “fitness for use”
  • Provide in house trainings for FSA (Field Sales Associate), distributors’ field sales, physicians in alignment with global standards
  • Provide case support directly to the surgeons in coordination with the sales team
  • Assist doctors in patient screening, case planning, and device selection
  • Assist the PM in the clinical trials, development of protocols and ensuring proper clinical technique
  • Assist the sales team in developing and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Work with the sales team to support the execution of advanced technical workshops and evenings of clinical discussion
  • Work with the sales team to develop the competence level of distributor sales team

Required Qualifications: 

  • Tertiary qualification. Preference is given for a degree in Scientific, Medical or Engineering discipline, but a nursing degree with strong technical or clinical experience is also acceptable
  • Minimum 3 years related experience in dealing with medical devices or related field in China
  • Proven record of project completion
  • Strong and successful clinical experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and being inter-dependent
  • Previous interaction with Key Opinion leaders in the medical community in China
  • Experience with catheter based cardiovascular products
  • Ability to develop and maintain technical / clinical credibility with physicians and sales associates
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical subjects to a wide variety of backgrounds is required
  • Capable and willing to travel extensively up to 60% and attend weekend conferences as required
