Job Overview:

This position is a part of the Data & Analytics (D&A) product team that supports our institutions and large enterprises to deliver capabilities for their data and reporting needs. As a Vice President for Product Management - Data Distribution, the primary responsibility will be to manage the prioritization and delivery of data distribution and external data reporting to meet the needs of our customers. This role will be crucial in determining the appropriate delivery methods, strategy for future product development, support for existing data distribution processes, and working closely with the Data Distribution & Data Share technology team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end product management and strategy for bulk data distribution and data sharing with our institutions, large enterprises, and vendors
  • Work with business partners and contribute to strategic solutions for data and reporting needs for our institutions
  • Collaborate with various business teams to understand data distribution requirements and prioritize them based on needs of the business
  • Help manage product tooling (Aha, Jira) and participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., PI planning)
  • Develop executive level presentations and business cases to articulate strategic value of data distribution aligned with business objectives
  • Interact with clients (e.g., Institutions, Large Enterprises, etc.) to build product backlog, remediate issues, and understand their needs for our data
  • Ensure strong governance processes are in place for distribution including data quality controls, access controls, etc.
  • Evaluate and determine the most appropriate distribution methods and channels for different data products. Ensuring data is delivered accurately, securely, and in a timely manner to stakeholders and subscribers.
  • Be a thought leader for product development specific to the data and reporting needs for our institutions and large enterprises

Requirements:

  • At a minimum, a bachelor’s degree with approximately 7+ years of related work experience including proven experience as a product owner, product manager, or similar product role, preferably in a data-focused environment.
  • Experience in the Wealth Management, Asset Management, Insurance, or Financial Services industry

Core Competencies:

  • Proven history of ability to tailor communications to a wide range of audiences including clients, technical teams, business stakeholders, legal, information security, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to develop executive level materials by synthesizing key insights, simplifying technical nuances, and elevating them to a strategic business discussion with senior leadership.

Preferences:

  • Understanding of Snowflake, AWS, and/or other cloud-based data platforms, and their capabilities for managing large scale data distribution.
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, data integrations, and ETL processes.

Pay Range:

$132,080-$198,120/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
