Job Summary

We are seeking an Engagement Manager with a focus on Analytics to join our team. With a blend of technical and domain expertise in analytics the ideal candidate will drive insights and strategies to support our brand and contract strategies. This role requires a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 8 years of experience in analytics with a strong foundation in Databricks SQL and Tableau alongside a deep understanding of brand reporting data management and sales performance tracking.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Scope study requirement gathering design feasibility check for implementation converting functional requirements to technical requirements development implementation unit testing and deployment.
  • Data management support by synthesizing data from multiple sources in the client data warehouse through effective coding and arrive at the relevant metrics that helps in performing value added analysis for the client teams.
  • Design and develop quality assurance net to capture and correct qualitative inconsistencies with data prior to analytics and reporting.
  • Working closely with clients and stake holders to ensure quality and maintain the dashboard to meet their demand. Taking quick and reliable actions to the client based on their critical needs and requirement.
  • Work with multiple programming languages and specialized statistical tools to provide analytical solutions using Alteryx SQL R Tableau VBA Macro
  • Responsible for providing analytics support and prepare actionable business insights reports for client team and present to senior leadership team for strategic planning.
  • Creation of plug and play components that support adhoc analysis queries from the client. The re-usable components are created after review of the various analysis that have been repetitively asked by the client. This supports in reducing the redundancy of the requests and paves way for quicker turnaround time for the clients to get answers to their business queries.
  • Interaction with Client stakeholders for all new reports development and closely work with Value & Access Teams for requirement gathering and prepare business rule document and Remediation discussion for new source changes.
  • Preparation of Design/Project process specific documents Technical/Functional support for the Analysts.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data and proactively report in any anomalies.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Certification(s) Required

  • Certification in tableau or databricks (optional)
  • Experience working with pharma datasources like iqvia laad data xponent/plantrak data mmit coverage data

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 130,000 USD – $ 140,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
