NSF is seeking to add a Specialist II Quality Assurance member to its growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for quality and compliance guidance and support for assigned program areas in the Health Sciences Quality team with a specific focus on Listings activity.

Principal Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing submitted Listing Update requests to ensure compliant format (to allow for accurate data entry) and documentation (to meet standard/scheme requirements, such as application, contract, approved technical documents)
  • Processing Listings work which includes interpreting and entering or updating Listings data after Certification Decision for multiple standards/schemes and Listing format types with varying requirements
  • Processing complex or advanced Listing work, such as private label clients or Listing transfers
  • Creating and issuing Certification Documentation (Official Listings and Certificates) to clients
  • Maintaining accuracy and turnaround time goals 
  • Supporting the business by answering internal questions and providing guidance on requirements and best practice
  • To act impartially and always maintain the confidentiality of NSF activities, including that of its clients
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications - Internal

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)/ISO Standards and understanding of the operation of accreditation and certification schemes (ideally ISO 17065) 
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Proven process improvement and problem solving abilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree in Business, Food, Operations or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of related data processing experience, preferably in a quality, manufacturing or certification/testing environment
