Bring your experience to support a team that’s building transmissions and gearboxes that thrill our customers and redefine the way the world flies. This role will be an integral part of the team, helping execute day-to-day.

What you’ll be doing as a Front Line Leader

The Front Line Leader will be responsible for assigning, managing and directing the daily manufacturing activities of up to 25 union covered employees within their assigned area to attain economy of operations, maximize throughput, and insure profitable production of parts.

Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.

Conduct disciplines of employees when necessary.

Manage in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Metrics driven accountability for performance: TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, and overtime charges.

Achieve objectives in a matrix work environment and work effectively with multiple functions (such as Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality, etc.).

Qualifications

Skills You Bring To this Role

Effective interpersonal, leadership, communication, and organization skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Being goal-oriented and data driven with a strong sense of urgency.

What you need to be successful

Seeking an individual who can be an empowering team leader.

A BS in Engineering, supply chain management, business management, leadership, or equivalent experience.

Manufacturing experience or military experience.
