The Clinical VELYS Robotic Assisted Solution (VRAS) Specialist serves as clinical and technical expert for commercialization activities for the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution including Commercial and Professional Education facilitation and being well-versed in the use of VELYS Robotic procedure, and subsequently managing the seamless installation, account rollout and customer in-service. The Robotics Specialist will also need to work closely with our existing Joint Reconstruction Sales Force on all new customer installations and on-boarding of all joint reconstruction business into the digital surgery offering. The Clinical VRAS Specialist reports to the Lead Velys Digital Surgery and Capital Equipment in Switzerland.

We are looking for a Senior Clinical Support Specialist to join our team in Zuchwill, Switzerland. The position is field based. 

Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Act as Product Expert for presentations with national accountability to multiple stakeholders across our hospital landscape in conjunction with the joints and Capital Sales Representative.
  • Supports all Joints Salesforce and customer installation and technical service requirements in assigned regions.
  • Manages logistical planning and implementation for procuring, moving, relocating, or repositioning equipment.
  • Sharing of best practice across region to ensure we constantly improve our integration of the robot.
  • Knowledge of publication, industry, or tech knowledge- be the expert in their field.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products, be up to date with other offerings.
  • Involved in roll out of new products/ updates
  • Manages customer relationships as RAS expert before, during and after installation. Clinical support for surgeon customer during initial robotics procedures.
  • Provides first line of service to internal and external customers for complex technical troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Delivers institutional facility training content to sterile processing, engineering, and others as required.
  • Assists sales organization with the efficient and effective utilization of equipment.
  • Quickly identify and solve problems on-the-go
  • Self-starter, ability to work without daily direction to increase results
  • Great Teammate – work closely with VELYS Digital Surgery partners and FSE (Field Service Engineer) and Joints
  • Salesforce to show unified approach in improving the customer experience
