Our Client and Broker Engagement (CBE) team manages AIG’s major client relationships across all product lines, as well as driving new business activity. The team serves major clients and broker partners through an elevated, personalized experience – our client-centric framework drives a consistent experience and best practice, while allowing flexibility to meet the client’s needs.

How you will create an impact

  • Lead on the programme management and coordination of UK Client & Broker Engagement (CBE) initiatives and strategies as required, this could include CBE’s 3 Year Plan and CX (Customer Experience) initiatives.
  • Provide project management through leading on CBE projects ensuring project plans are in place and timelines are adhered to. 
  • Support with Client Engagement strategic priorities
  • Ensure framework and project plans enabling management of broker facilities including governance, budgeting and procedure management (including utilisation of salesforce)
  • Responsible for preparing and briefing the ‘Head of CBE - UK’ for presentations, high level interviews, speeches, townhalls and key market events.
  • Provide input into agenda and content into key CBE events (Global Client Council, Client Forums, Client &/or Broker Conferences, AIRMIC etc)
  • Undertake an operational management role to effectively drive performance across UK CBE by ensuring day-to-day activities are aligned to business goals and priorities as well as operating P&L for Major (‘Engaged’) clients
  • Provide support on the performance management framework for the Head of CBE -UK direct reports and dual-managed reports.
  • Work closely and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the AIG UK business to ensure alignment with all products, key functions and regional/country leads. 
  • Prepare the weekly UK CBE update for the International CBE Team.
  • Maintain a close interaction with International Government Affairs & Public Affairs to ensure CBE are aligned with key messaging e.g., climate change, ESG, governmental direction, current affairs, geopolitical activity etc.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Demonstrable experience of project management.
  • Professional experience making recommendations and decisions based on complex data / information
  • Good reporting skills
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in supporting Executive level stakeholders and/or similar high-profile positions.
  • Some insurance and broker knowledge
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, conflict and difficult situations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a proactive and positive manner.
  • Creative problem-solver.
  • Strong team player.
