Supports the regular FG reviews and management of inventory optimization programs in the entire EMEAI region, developing and analyzing multiple reports and analyses, partnering with Finance, Business Units, Operations and Strategic Supply Chain teams. Participates in and / or leads the development of inventory management tools and processes to achieve further harmonization with global policies / guidelines and standardization within the region. Supports forecast, budget and mid-term planning cycles, providing various reports / analyses and contributing to the reviews. Leads inventory optimization projects partnering cross-functionally, performing root cause analyses and implementing process changes to improve profitability and cash flow. 

  • Develop and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports, reviewing Finished Goods inventories, with the goal of balancing service level and costs within defined budget
  • Conduct analyses to support the identification, implementation and regular progress tracking of Finished Goods inventory improvement initiatives across the entire region. Lead working capital projects in a cross-functional framework and bear accountability for project results
  • Develop and maintain management dashboards, including contribution to the management commentary, tracking inventory performance vs. defined targets 
  • Contribute to the preparation of the monthly Finished Goods review cycle for the full EMEAI region (multiple plants and business units) and lead certain reviews as assigned
  • Provide various reports and analysis to support the development of yearly and mid-term targets as well as the regular tracking of actual performance vs. budget / forecast
  • Support / lead the development and maintenance of business intelligence tools to track inventory performance and harmonize regional tools with global nomenclature and processes. Support / lead activities to ensure regional alignment across businesses and plants on tools and processes leveraging best practices
  • Provide routin management information on inventory performance and service levels
  • As a key member of the regional Strategic Supply Chain team, partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations and R&D colleagues on various inventory management and control topics
  • Perform other duties as assigned 
  • A University degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering or other related discipline
  • Previous professional experience in industrial environment, preferably in the process industry, in a supply chain, planning, finance / accounting and / or sales support role
  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • Good numerical and analytical skills. Ability to extract actionable insights from complex data
  • Knowledge of ERP, business intelligence and / or planning systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to work at different level of organization, locally and regionally
