This role is part of the global Web Tech and Engineering (WTE) group at BlackRock. BlackRock’s WTE Group’s core mission is to increase operational scale and regulatory compliance while modernizing technology for BlackRock’s public websites and associated fund data. Job Role

We are looking for a detail oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative product manager to join the Fund Data and Operations team. They will be responsible for the representation of our diverse set of products across our public websites and services. Including alternatives, exchange traded funds, mutual funds, indices and model portfolios across various asset classes. The ideal candidate will build an understanding of the financial product and our team’s technology offering. They will then use their excellent communication skills to partner with senior executives in Product, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Legal and Compliance to ensure Blackrock represent our product in the best possible way to our clients. Using this knowledge they will strive to design, champion and execute operational and technology changes to support Blackrock’s ever evolving product offering.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive the production and delivery of product pages and factsheets distributed on our public websites.
  • Build relations & partner with stakeholders to understand our client’s needs and requirements.
  • Partner with various product and upstream data partners to distribute fund data on marketing websites and factsheets.
  • Deliver requirement solution from ideation to completion, including testing and on-going support.
  • Manage existing production systems and processes while challenging the status quo to optimize our services and prepare us for the future.
  • Grown your knowledge to become the subject matter expert on fund data at the firm and teach other teams how to navigate the firm and implement scalable changes.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to identify, describe, and develop new ideas and concepts which improve our client’s experience.

Skills/Requirements:

Must Haves:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, accurate, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, drive change, and influence others at a senior level.
  • Desire to succeed as both an individual and team player!
  • Demonstrated ability in being proactive and having initiative to make continual improvements.
  • Experience of producing detailed business requirements documentation.
  • Ability to grasp complex systems and focus on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

Preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Services or Investment Management ecosystem
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics or finance-related field.
  • People Manager with experience of leading a team of 5-6 individuals.
  • Basic SQL, python, Advanced MS Excel or PowerBI
