Introduction

The EPMO Portfolio Manager will manage a cross functional portfolio of projects, programmes and initiatives. They will work closely with project and programme managers to ensure all projects are following agreed methodologies and applying appropraite standards and controls. They will also create and maintain a core set of agreed templates and relevant tools. The EPMO Portfolio Manager will maintain the Optimizely Portfolio of projects ensuring it is up to date and accurate. They will highlight and manage portfolio level risks, opportunities and plans ensuring and ensure timely reporting to support crucial decision making. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: own and maintain the Optimizely portfolio of projects and programmes ensuring it is supported through timely and accurate reporting. 
  • Create relevant portfolio level reports and own relevant portfolio health metrics and related reporting
  • Support the wider EPMO team ensuring best practice and agreed ways of working are in place
  • Run relevant workshops (including risk and planning etc.)
  • Design, manage and roll out best pracice and agreed processes including templates, tools and control documents
  • Track the financial delivery of the portfolio
  • Maintain the Portfolio level risk log
  • Own and maintain the portfolio roadmap
  • Work closely to support key stakeholders including identifying and supporting capability development through awareness and training

Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday (2:00pm-10:00pm)

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of establishing and maintaining portfolios of projects and programmes
  • Prefered 3+ years experience in a PMO / Portfolio Management role with a strong background in portfolio assurance, governance and methodology. 
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills
  • Risk management and planning management
  • Full lifecycle project mangement experience 
  • Demonstrable experience of setting up and running PMOs
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with a proven ability to multi-task 

Education

Qualified in a relevant discipline including:

Portfolio Management; Programme Management or Project Management
