Lactacyd is the largest CHC brand in the ASEA Zone, marketed in 8 countries with a clear and ambitious agenda to transform itself from a niche brand into a household name. Its products, such as Feminine hygiene wash and baby wash, have already won the hearts of many customers. Lactacyd is determined to go even further and become a well-known Skin health brand across the region.

The ASEA Brand Innovation Lead for Lactacyd will be placed within the ASEA Brand & Innovation Team and will define and execute an innovation roadmap that aligns with the brand strategy, financial plans, and Strategic Plan.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Identify brand growth opportunities and work with cross-functional teams at a local and zone level, as well as external agencies to deliver scalable, winning innovation that drives revenue, profit and share at a pace.
  • Facilitate internal ideas generation with cross functional teams to develop new product ideas and create winning concepts to maintain a continuous flow of insights and ideas to strengthen our base and fuel innovation.
  • Be accountable for the successful pipeline delivery through the business gate cycle and commercial targets.
  • Identify portfolio simplification and optimization opportunities in cross collaboration with M&S and D2V (Design-to-Value) teams.
  • Identify renovation, commercial innovation and sustainability initiatives to drive brand growth and expansion.
  • Responsible for the brand innovation budget allocation among the projects, ensure transparency of spend against meaningful initiatives and trade-offs, valuing projects for financial scale, accuracy and probability of success.
  • Own NPD projects from concept to launch; seeking out the optimized solution of product, pack and execution working closely with a cross-functional team (Science Hub, Finance, M&S, Legal, Procurement, etc.).
  • Define launch plans in coordination with the local brand managers and Zone Brand Lead and post-launch evaluation with actionable insights to build learnings into future plans.
  • Own and build the business cases through the gate process in cooperation with Finance and aligned with the innovation thresholds.
  • Guarantee compliance with Sustainability KPIs.
  • Be the key point of contact for Country Head-ASEA G2 Countries and Trade marketing lead - G2 countries for marketing and innovation related matters. (G2 countires defined by GTM model – full distributor model countries)

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in brand management, product innovation, or marketing roles, preferably within the personal care industry.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer trends, and competitive landscape in the personal care sector.
  • Creative thinker who can generate innovative ideas and translate them into actionable strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
