  • We are looking for a Program Manager who will be responsible for driving a large multi-year umbrella growth initiative, consisting of multiple cross-TE projects.

The Corporate Strategy team shapes TE’s portfolio composition and competitive strategy.  The Senior Program Manager will be a key member of the team and will be responsible for program management (leading, planning, tracking, reporting, quality-control, and course-correction) of all projects and initiatives related to an umbrella initiative to grow TE’s customer base. The Senior Program Manager will have ultimate accountability for the success of the program and the individual projects, and will work with multi-functional teams, composed of members from Marketing, Channel, Strategy, IT, and business units.

Ideal candidate profile

Success in the role requires strong business acumen and strategic mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional communication and presentation skills, ability to work seamlessly with leaders at multiple levels in the organization, excellent team-work and influencing skills, and the tenacity to achieve results without formal authority.


In addition, the successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading institution. MBA from a top program a plus.
  • 10+ years of work experience across several functional areas, particularly marketing & sales.
  • Project/Program Management expertise and knowledge, e.g., PMI courses on planning and tracking. Certifications, e.g., PMP, are a plus.
  • Understanding of how complex, global, multi-business-unit companies operate. Understanding of TE’s end-markets are a plus.
  • Experience in leading in cross-departmental teams in change-management projects and delivering results.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a matrix environment, navigate complex situations and influence senior leadership. Comfort in ambiguous and high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrated managerial courage with the ability to push back on peers and senior leaders.
  • Ability to inspire and lead internal and external colleagues.
  • Willingness to travel to meet TE colleagues, customers, partners etc.
  • Must have fluency in English. Foreign language skills a plus (German or Mandarin a strong plus).
