The Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for an Art teacher position that is available at Eastern Montgomery Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year.
Primary Responsibilities:
To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher’s License with appropriate endorsement to teach art at the elementary level
- Have experience in curriculum development and developing lesson plans
- Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
- Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in fostering an inclusive learning environment
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
- Ability to be dependable and punctual
