Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced A Licensed Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at Jet2.com. As an A Licensed Aircraft Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our aircraft fleet. You will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and completing necessary repairs to keep our aircraft in top condition.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled maintenance inspections and repairs on aircraft according to company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as needed to address mechanical issues and ensure aircraft safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems and components to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Complete all maintenance tasks accurately and in compliance with relevant aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Document all maintenance activities thoroughly and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team and communicate effectively to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
The Successful Candidate:
- Will hold a valid and current EASA 'A' License.
- You will have an operational background in aircraft maintenance, with experience working on commercial aircraft.
- Ideally have previous experience working as a licensed aircraft mechanic, preferably in a commercial airline or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) setting.
- Experience of working with our aircraft types would be an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.
- You will have full working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
