Summary:
The Analytics Solution Manager (ASM) is the functional lead for research technology, enterprise analytics and data with multiple business or clinical areas of the healthcare system. They are capable of managing multiple products, programs, or domains at once.
As the Research Technology and/or Enterprise Analytics subject matter expert regarding enterprise-level research, data, and analytical requirements for a designated system area, this position serves as the internal customer account manager, working with both leaders and end users to characterize requirements and ensuring the successfully delivery of solutions to meet those needs.
The ASM is an individual contributor that works under limited supervision. This position may be required to supervise others.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Mindset & Communication - The ASM is a versatile leader, equally fluent in communicating with senior executives and operations staff, and in orchestrating multidisciplinary teams through discussions into system-wide consensus. They build positive relationships with a wide range of leaders across the organization and are conscious of long term business goals. The ASM is both a strong presenter and listener. They are organizationally savvy, able to navigate overlapping or conflicting priorities across stakeholders. The ASM is adaptable, adjusting their approach to respond to the situation and the culture.
2. Enterprise Leadership, Mentorship & Training - Establishes and leads virtual teams of research, research operations, clinical, business, and information services staff from across the system to drive consensus on research, data, and analytical needs and priorities. Mentors junior staff and analytics community members.
3. Program Management & Facilitation - The ASM leverages product and program management principles to drive the iterative creation of new research, data, and analytical capabilities and assets for the system. This includes, but is not limited to consulting with business stakeholders to design and scope solutions, capturing and preparing project intake (demands), documenting business decisions, managing risks and scope, and updating customers on progress.
4. Delivery & Enablement - The ASM delivers research and analytical solutions and drives adoption with the business in order to achieve business objectives and realize value. They assess business adoption of delivered solutions. They provide end-user enablement and support, including high-touch customer service, communications, and the creation of reusable knowledge assets such as documentation and training content. The ASM serves as the liaison between their end-user community and developers, helping to identify, scope, and prioritize ongoing solution delivery.
