Overview

Job Purpose

As a Senior Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for the management and operation of audio-visual systems in a corporate environment. With 6-8 years of experience, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality audio-visual services, including the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV equipment for meetings, conferences, and corporate events.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment, including projectors, microphones, video conferencing systems, and integrated control systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on AV equipment usage.
  • Coordinate with event planners to ensure AV requirements are met for various corporate functions.
  • Manage inventory and perform regular checks to ensure all equipment is in working order.
  • Stay current with the latest AV technology trends and make recommendations for equipment upgrades.
  • Lead a team of AV technicians, delegating tasks and ensuring high standards of work.
  • Develop and implement AV policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.

Knowledge and Experience

  • 6-8 years of experience in audio-visual technology, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of AV system design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex AV systems.
  • Proficient in the use of AV software and remote management tools.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent technical certification.

New York Base Salary Range 

The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 70,000 - 110,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
