Job Description:


  • Drive the development and application of new dye formulations within development projects or according to individual request: to match desire technical specification, to improve cost effectiveness, to ensure the quality, to improve process safety and industrial hygiene, to reduce the environmental impact
  • Communicate with people from various regions of the company, and from multiple disciplines (commercial, marketing, manufacturing facilities; Research and Development, Technical resource etc.)
  • Support with dye formulation to develop solutions which will deliver the value propositions, reflecting input from the Regions, R&D, Global PM and other concept Teams.
  • Scheduling and performing blending, standardization, and  formulation work on the laboratory bench, pilot plant  and production level following safe operating procedures
  • Conduct testing on a variety of formulated dyes using various equipment and instruments with testing methods and standards
  • Monitoring of the literature and patent activities and support technical writing
  • generate & co-ordinate lab equipment requirements for continuous improvement of level of technical assistance to Research group
  • Record test data, technical information and other details. Drafting of process instructions and semester reports
  • Support REACH team, synthetic group, NPI team as and when required


Education: Ph.D., M.Sc., M.Tech. Chemistry / Chemical Engineering

Experience: Industrial experience of 5-10 years. 5+ year relevant experience.

  • Sound know-how in Dye Standardization & Formulation with in-deft knowledge in Dyes Chemistry
  • Practical laboratory experience (5-10 years)
  • Practical experience in the dye formulation field (5 years)
  • Extensive knowledge of textile dyes product lines
  • Communication & presentation skills, project management & leadership skills
