Job Purpose

The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a key ambassador for People & Culture within the organization, aligning closely with business objectives and future strategies. In accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, and processes, the HRBP will be responsible for assisting with various strategic human resources activities and executing Human Resources tasks.

Job Description

  • A consultant and coach to leadership, the HRBP plays a vital role in advising and collaborating with leaders to optimize people solutions across the entire employee life cycle. 
  • Develop and implement People & Culture strategies, aligning with the global people strategy to achieve our overarching objectives (True North). 
  • Possesses an in-depth understanding of the business unit(s), including processes, key personnel, and the global landscape. Aligns efforts with business objectives and supports leaders in people strategy.
  • Support leaders in succession planning and implement talent management and retention strategies.
  • Partner with the COEs and Shared Services to ensure that P&C processes adhere to global standards of excellence while being adaptable to the specific needs of the business units(s) and their locations. 
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics for the business, utilizing data-driven insights to formulate solutions that address internal customer needs in people management. Analyze, monitor, and consolidate P&C performance indicators for the business to facilitate informed people management decisions.
  • Collaborate with leaders to define the optimal organizational design, ensuring alignment with current and future business unit needs. Provide guidance and facilitate organizational changes, assisting leaders in restructuring planning and communication plans.
  • Ensure adherence to global People & Culture procedures and processes, verifying their consistent application across the business unit(s) while ensuring local guidelines and regulations are followed.

You are meant for this job if:

  • At least 5-7 years of relevant human resources business partner experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other related field.
  • Knowledge of HR management methods and tools.
  • Strong understanding of key laws and processes related to Human Resources.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of TechnipFMC personnel.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze data to support decisions and business justifications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Relevant oil and gas industry experience preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Spend 95% time in an office environment. Occasional exposure to the shop or field as required. The exposure can lead to possible hazards, including noise, outdoor temperature extremes, chemicals, pressure testing, heavy lifting operations, and shop/field traffic when visiting areas outside of the office. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking, and some lifting. Hands-on labor in the shop and/or field environment requires lifting, walking, stooping, bending, and some climbing.
