Senior Solution Architect - Cyber Security


We are looking for a Solutions Architect with solid skills in cyber security engineering, based in the metro Washington, DC area. Our Solution Architects are drawn from elite developers and scientists and enjoy working with the latest in GPU hardware and software. At NVIDIA, you will develop your knowledge of GPUs for high-performance analytics with a focus on cyber security.

If you are experienced developing cyber analytics applications by employing the algorithms and software tools of machine learning, deep learning and graph analytics, and want to help your customers find their answers at GPU speed, we want to talk with you.

The Solution Architect works with key NVIDIA customers in the Federal, Commercial and Education areas. We enable our customers to execute projects with compelling productivity breakthroughs. You will work with some of the most highly regarded organizations in the Federal ecosystem, and your work will bring the latest technology to mission critical workflows, contributing to the enhanced safety, security and economic capability of our country.

A Solution Architect is the first line of technical expertise between NVIDIA and our partners and customers. The duties vary from building software for proof-of-concept demonstrations, to driving relationships with key executives and managers in order to evangelize accelerated computing. You will engage with developers, scientific researchers, data scientists, IT managers and senior leaders.

As an NVIDIA Solution Architect, you will support our Technical Account Managers with their lighthouse accounts. You will help drive new business in those accounts and in new accounts. You will lead the technical relationship with your lighthouse accounts and assist your customers with building innovative solutions based on NVIDIA technology. You will be an authority on integrating NVIDIA technology into applications built on Deep Learning, Graph Analytics, in-memory databases and other emerging GPU technologies.

As Solution Architects we write technical blog articles and give seminars on cyber analytics, deep learning and related areas using NVIDIA products. You will also be an internal champion for Cyber Security and Machine Learning among the NVIDIA technical community. What we need to see:

  • 2+ years experience implementing cyber analytics work flows.
  • Solid knowledge of cyber security engineering including risk analysis, vulnerability analysis, insider threat analysis, malware identification, and the software engineering life cycle.
  • Experience implementing Deep Learning applications with one or more of the major DL frameworks, such as Caffe, TensorFlow, or Torch.
  • Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills, and an enthusiastic presentation style.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day direction.
  • Healthy collaboration and social skills.
  • C/C++/Python/Java/Scala programming experience
  • Experience with GPU computing and CUDA programming
  • Experience using scale-out cloud and/or HPC architectures for parallel programming
  • BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, Neuroscience, Experimental Psychology or equivalent work experience.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Significant experience applying deep learning, AI and graph analytics techniques and algorithms to cyber security challenges.
  • Published record of thought leadership in cyber security.
  • The ability to hold a US DOD security clearance.
  • Extensive experience designing and deploying large scale HPC and enterprise computing systems.
  • Deep knowledge of the market and ecosystem around a specific federal government department or agency.
  • MS or PhD in Cyber Security, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, Neuroscience, Experimental Psychology or equivalent work experience.
