Job Overview
The Senior Technical Program Manager is a key member of the Development Services and Experiences (DevX) program team. He/she drives execution on one or more technology or business and process improvement initiatives within Intuit Platform (IP)
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or equivalent experience; development experience preferred
- Experience managing software development projects and managing large operational systems in a fast paced, agile environment; platform as a service experience a plus
- Self-starter able to track complex and/or large volume of details (technical and project related), manage and coordinate with 10-15 scrum teams, across multiple sites
- Ability to communicate with engineers and execs, tailoring as appropriate. Ability to get into the details, as well as provide summarized exec views. Self-awareness of what to share with each audience.
- 5-7 years of project/program management experience
- Knowledge and use of industry standard program/project methods, tools and techniques
Responsibilities
- Initiate, plan and execute business process improvements to reduce friction and accelerate the productivity in Intuit Platform
- Analyze data to identify insights to drive faster decision making
- Prepare and maintain various dashboards and wikis at program and IP level
- Support IP verticals as needed to drive spike programs and initiatives
- Understand business milestones and break them down into clear and measurable milestones
- Clear blockers and manage escalations across teams
- Communicate clear status to all levels of leadership, including technical status and how it impacts business outcomes
- Track vendor and resources costs using tools like Qlik Sense & Google suite products.
- Assist with scenario planning for specific tasks and recommend trade offs as needed.
- Work with PMO Leads, Finance and IP leadership to manage and track IP forecasts and budgets.
- Report on existing vs target headcount using proprietary tool and QlikSense for headcount management.
- Track open reqs, ensure reqs are appropriately funded and raise awareness when risk of over hiring.
- Support Finance with on Headcount ramp forecasting during quarterly and annual planning.
- Support the quarterly Investment Review process which needs resource data.
- Educate teams and help create Purchase Orders as needed. Work with other Business Units when needed.
- Follow up on PO approvals and unpaid invoices, go to a person to solve problems when needed.
