Foot Locker’s End User Services team is driving digital transformation in our corporate environments. As a Manager you will serve as part of a talented team of Leaders who demonstrate on a daily base best in class practices, excellent technical and procedural competences and who continuously set the bar to the highest level of expectation for themselves and the product they are using, investigating, or implementing. Drive operational and strategic components of Software Asset Management service. This position is critical to the success of Foot Lockers SAM program as it will direct and report on overall service health, on-going initiatives and guide day to day operations of the team and cross-team members. The ideal candidate has natural leadership skills and proven track record across a multitude of Publishers, understands the complexities of licensing in a global environment and can effectively work across numerous internal departments and external partners. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maximizing the value of our software investments, overseeing assets from contractual, financial, compliance, risk, and usage perspectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement gold standard administration and product strategies.
  • Lead discussions with stakeholders that drive decisions and planning, provide project updates to all stakeholders.
  • Identify savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and services.
  • Effectively manage Software portfolio
  • Work with procurement team and SAM technical staff to automate processes to an appropriate level.
  • Drive change
  • Manage software asset management processes, including software procurement, license management, software installation, and compliance.
  • Provide mentorship and communication to the team (direct or undirect reports and vendors) – work to empower service teams to provide an elite standard of support for our end user community.
  • Manage compliance with software licenses, contracts, and vendor agreements to prevent legal liability and financial losses. 
  • Use software asset management tools to monitor/report/manage software usage and license allocation.
  • Assist with software license optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency. 
  • Keep up to date with industry developments, software licensing models, and regulatory changes in order to proactively manage risks.
  • Maintain license contract records in ServiceNow; contract terms, license terms of use, maintenance, subscription term dates, renewal dates
  • Coordinates team activities to monitor and track software usage and optimize software purchases; removal/retiring unused software, review of redundant software applications and makes recommendations on consolidating on fewer software applications. 
  • Review and develop policy and compliance workflows for shadow IT and Click through software applications
  • Manage 3rd party service providers

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience leading teams and managing change
  • Tracking record of delivering highly critical projects and technology
  • Be a leader, a mentor, and a coach for team members
  • Can manage Senior Executives stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Presentation and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong vendor management background
  • Experience and knowledge of the software lifecycle from licensing to purchasing to deployment and decommissioning.
  • Proven experience/ITAM Certification in software asset management, IT asset management
  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of Software Publishers EULAs and license Terms, software license entitlements, use rights for specified complex license agreements.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing approaches to rationalize and optimize license entitlements across the enterprise
  • Experience with Software Asset Management tools, preferably ServiceNow SAM PRO
  • Strong knowledge of PowerBI, Power Automate, Excel

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $90,000 -$130,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
