We are looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition with experience in a federal government contracting space to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high paced agile environment with revolving priorities managing a team of geographically diverse recruiters. This role will require strong communication skills and collaborations across multiple programs and disciplines.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Align recruiting efforts and goals to corporate strategy, priorities, objectives, and culture.
  • Drive effective cross-functional team collaboration with accountability for the recruiting team.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance on innovative recruitment techniques and tools.
  • Develop and communicate actionable staffing strategies, set department goals, and plans with stakeholder objectives.
  • Lead, coach and mentor team of recruiters, fostering a high-performance culture and ensure that recruitment goals are met.
  • Establish, implement, track, and report key metrics models.
  • Cultivate a culture to prioritize candidate experience while maintaining company goals and objectives.
  • Cultivate a strong working relationship with key stakeholders, business development, hiring teams, and executives.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking systems and HR policies.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Proven experience recruiting and sourcing technical developers, engineers, architects, etc.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize as needed.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when needed.
  • Strong time management skills with attention to deadlines and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Design and implement recruiting processes/matrix (housed in a searchable database) that allows for measurable reporting of recruiting efficiency and analytical data that is scalable across Harmonia and its partner organizations. 
  • Establish a bi-weekly/monthly reporting meeting with senior executives to review recruiting matrixes and productivity numbers.
  • Report accurate real time numbers on a quarterly basis to senior leadership, or as needed, on the status of the recruiting efforts by the team, ie. time to fill, cost of recruitment in any program, number of offers extended/accepted/declined, etc.
  • Report where improvements can be made within the recruitment organization and proactively present solutions to leadership for approval.
  • Experience working talent acquisition in a cleared and none-cleared environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in collaborating across executive leadership teams and driving recruitment strategies in terms of market development, diversity pipelines, and strategic hiring of all levels.
  • Strong experience with recruitment, sourcing, and onboarding integrations.
  • Leadership and management experience with proven history of growing, training, developing, and measuring performance of highly effective talent acquisition teams.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting metrics and data and how they relate to performance and drive decision making.
