The Unit Process & Technology supports the three 4 value streams (manufacturing small molecules, large molecules and antibody-drug-conjugates) in Basel Drug Substance Manufacturing resulting in safe, high quality, and continuously improving production. The task of the unit Process Validation & Material Science is conceptual design, planning and coordination of all process validations activities for the four value streams: conceptual work and the creation of plans, coordination of sampling and analysis, evaluation of data, interpretation of the results and the creation of the validation reports. We are responsible for implementation of direct materials (process raw materials and materials in contact with the product) in production and qualification of new direct materials for use in commercial and clinical biotechnological drug production. We support with our work the introduction of new production processes as part of technical transfer projects and commercial manufacturing.

Who you are:
You hold a Master or Ph.D. in chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology or biochemistry with a minimum of 3 years professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
You are interested in expanding your experience and in being exposed to drug substance manufacturing under GMP in a world leading pharmaceutical company.
You have a pro-active knowledge sharing mindset with excellent organizational and communication skills.
