As the Agile Practice Director, you'll be joining the global Marketplace and Planning Analytics team.  Our team brings together technology, reporting and advanced analytics expertise to deliver scalable and innovative data products and solutions to support Nike Sales, Retail, Supply Chain and Planning teams.

Responsibilities
•Evaluate, educate, and elevate our team’s agile practices through education and hands on coaching
•Act as change agent and evangelist to influence the adoption of agile mindset and practice both within IT teams and their partner business analytics teams
•Align roadmaps with other Agile leaders from partner teams
•Provide specific expert guidance and coaching in areas of specialty, e.g. engineering practices, product ownership and definition, Scrum Master, Scrum framework, SAFe, scaling techniques, etc.
•Partner with Product Managers, stakeholders, and Engineering leadership to elevate our ability to build and maintain roadmaps with a sustainable delivery cadence and meaningful metrics
•Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to establish consistent metrics and KPIs for measuring progress and effectiveness at team, product and organizational levels
•Mentor teams, individuals, and leadership beyond the agile processes, educating them on how to think with an agile mindset, discovering fresh practices, innovating new ways to collaborate, and to “be” agile
•Create an environment that meaningfully values and promotes autonomy, skill mastery, empowerment, transparency, innovation. and learning
•Serve as the liaison to the Agile Transformation Office to share knowledge & learnings
Proven track record of:
•Leadership capability, including ability to motivate and mentor others
•Thinking and planning strategically, with ability to communicate the strategy to a large organization
•Delivering complex, cross functional IT projects and/or programs
•Pulling a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions
•Working with business partners to drive adoption of agile practices
As the Agile Practice Director you will be part of a highly visible, strategic team focused on transforming our organization to Agile. 

The successful candidate will: 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Design the roadmap for the organization’s Agile Transformation
• Align roadmaps with other Agile Transformation Managers from partner teams
• Assesses Agile readiness and impacts of the Agile Transformation
• Lead the organization through their Agile Transformation ensuring both the processes are adopted and mindsets are changed
• Leverages and contribute to the Agile Gameplan 
• Coordinates with the Agile Transformation Office on their Level 1 & level 2 transformation
• Serve as the liaison to the Agile Transformation Office to share knowledge & learnings
• Identifies Team level coaches to drive & support behavior change
• Works with operations to transform organization (e.g. training, reporting, etc.
• Manage the Agile Transition Core team to execute the Agile roadmap

Leads the Core team to:
• Define the Customer
• Define Product teams & trains
• Define and decompose Epics, Features, and User Stories
• Activates all of the above

Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications
•5+ years of experience leading and coaching agile practices
•5+ years of experience working in engineering, IT, or a related field
•2+ years of experience working in the analytics field
•Substantial experience with delivery methodologies in a fast-paced complex environment – Scrum, SAFe, Extreme Programming
•Strong skills in team leadership and building positive business partner relationships
•Strong networking skills and ability to work across multiple organizations to accomplish diverse goals
•Demonstrated ability to influence critical business outcomes in a matrix based, global environment
•Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams
•Must possess a high degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent Agile related concepts effectively with Senior Level leadership
Ability to pass a 7-year background investigationQualifications

•A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related field. MBA preferred.
•5-8 years experience in Transition Management with large-scale programs 
•3 Years experience designing agile at scale and release practices
•5 years operating in an Agile team as a developer or scrum master SAFe 4.0 certified 
•Formal training in Agile portfolio, Lean Agile budgeting, project or portfolio management methodologies and/or certifications
•Expert level project/program management skills. Lean process design experience preferred
•Proven track record of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals
•Strong leadership presence
•Proven presentation and facilitation skills
•Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others
•Excellent written and oral communications skills
•Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
•Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
•Demonstration of strong influencing skills
