Auberle’s Behavioral Health Department provides a wide range of services to children, adolescents, adults and families. Services include psychiatric, psychological, mental health and substance abuse services. The majority of clients are adolescents involved with Auberle’s various programing; however, Auberle is increasingly expanding services to individuals, families, and couples located within the community. Auberle therapists provide a combination of individual, group, and family therapy. Auberle is seeking Master’s level mental health professionals. Preference is given to PA State licensed (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) therapists and those actively on a licensure track.
We have therapist roles open in many areas including:
Outpatient Mental Health – This position works with a wide range of clients both virtually and in person to help them to identify and achieve their mental health goals.
School Based Outpatient Therapy - This position does the bulk of its work during the traditional school year. Auberle provides school-based services to districts such as Bethel Park, Duquesne, and McKeesport. We collaborate with district personnel to advance their knowledge of therapeutic interventions delivered to their students.
Community Crisis Intervention- Through our MIYA program this position delivers comprehensive, mobile services and supports to transition aged youth in the community. The program works closely with the youth’s family and/or natural supports to assist the youth with meeting their individual goals for recovery.
Youth Drop-in Center - The 412 Youth Zone is our youth drop-in center serving homeless and/or transition age youth. Through the Youth Zone, Auberle’s Behavioral Health Department provides therapeutic services including psychiatric, mental health, and substance abuse services.
HomeBuilders- Provides intensive, in-home crisis intervention, counseling, and life-skills education for families who have children at imminent risk of placement in state-funded care. The goal of the program is to remove the risk of harm to the child(ren) birth-17 years old instead of removing the child. The program gives families the chance to learn new behaviors, and helps them make better choices for their children. Child Safety is ensured through small caseloads, program intensity, and 24-hour a day service availability.
