Senior Manager, Regional Digital Performance

Summary:

You will ensure continuous improvement of the user experience on the East Asia and Australia (E2A) Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) brand sites and social channels. You are expected to align the implementation of the Group and Regional Digital Strategy.

You will monitor the correct execution and adjustment of digital and media campaigns and messaging to achieve digital goals on owned and shared platforms. You will work in close collaboration with other members of the team as well as the media agency to maximize the lead acquisition, lead generation and the return on ad spend (ROAS).

Reporting to the Regional Communications Director, your role also includes the development and coaching of local country teams.

Job Description

Digital Strategy:

  • Localize (when needed) and implement global digital marketing communications strategies within the region
  • Play a digital advisory role across marketing communications and the wider business and provide digital expertise on cross-functional initiatives
  • Lead, mentor and foster digital channel owners, territories or countries to continually develop technical and transferable digital skills

Digital Ecosystem Management:

  • Manage digital evolution strategies: owned brand sites and social media
  • Identify key opportunities to create new content and functionality to brand site while improving engagement and creating a better user experience
  • Ensure compliance of Digital Ecosystem with Corporate and Legal requirements and processes
  • Review site content for accuracy, timeliness, and consistency with the organization’s voice, brand, and mission
  • Evaluate potential agency partners

Digital Performance & Analytics:

  • Oversee the performance of digital marketing channels including paid search, programmatic, display, social, email, website and SEO
  • Based on performance analytics, understand, and improve consumer experience and the performance of digital activations supporting the business objectives (in particular the paid lead generation and conversion campaigns).
  • In collaboration with the Regional Media Manager, support the development of digital multi-channel campaigns aimed at increasing branding, conversion or loyalty
  • Report KPI dashboard to Zone management on a quarterly basis (E2A Digital steer-co)
  • Animate the media performance steering with media agency for conversion media activations
  • Constantly optimize campaigns with media managers. Lead the a/b test efforts in collaboration with Regional Media Manager
  • Define and lead digital performance optimization tactics

Digital Governance:

  • With the Regional e-Retail Manager and Regional CRM, is the co-owner of the Zone Digital Steering Committee process (prepare, manage, follow-up with all key stakeholders)
  • Support the Regional Consumer Experience Strategy and processes representing all digital touchpoints
  • In charge of website and social media governance in region
  • Is the key contact for country Digital Marketing Managers in the region

  • Cost per lead
  • PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, Owned) Digital KPIs
  • SEO rankings
  • Ratings and reviews
  • Platform launches (e.g. website launches/updates)

What you will need to succeed:

  • Proven digital experience (digital marketing or e-commerce)
  • Real appetite for data, insights and analysis, in order to make operational recommendations
  • Proficiency in SEO, Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, and Google Ads Manager 
  • Ability to work in a team and lead/mentor a network – influencing without authority
  • Be self-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English a must) and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to work in highly complex matrix organization

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor or masters in digital marketing, marketing, communications or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years experience
  • Fluent in English
