Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Temporary full time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.
The position of the accounts payable specialist assumes the primary responsibility for the processing of all cash disbursements for Shriners Hospital for Children-Philadelphia. The individual must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and have the ability to communicate effectively with departments and vendors. The employee must have the ability to manage sensitive material in a confidential manner. The individual must have strong organizational skills and have knowledge of Microsoft office.
Processes accounts payable
Education
High School diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
Experience
3 years’ experience in accounts payable preferred
Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred
Knowledge/experience with purchasing software preferred
Lawson experience preferred
Other
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Current full vaccination status required
