Monitors the efficiency of the sales staff concerning the development of new accounts, accurate tracing of accounts, and proper handling of sales procedures and inquiries.
Responsible for business from the travel industry segment (wholesalers, inbound, operators, and airlines), long stay, office tenants (if appropriate), and corporate accounts.
Liaises with all departments concerned to ensure that clients' requirements are accurately communicated and satisfied.
Responsible for adopting charity and organizing PR events in line with the hotel’s requirements.
Suggests programs to management to compete, to fill slow periods, and to provide special fuel for the salespeople.
Maintains regular contact through sales calls, telephone, or other means with your clients and reports any adverse comments to management for rectification.
Informs existing and potential accounts of activities in the hotel and solicits new business.
Assigns sales territories, quotas, and accounts.
Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing or related field with three or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with direct supervisory experience over a team.
Strong knowledge of trends required, good business sense and the ability to motivate and lead a team
Be able to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
