How You Will Make an Impact (Essential Functions) 

Optimizing Recruitment Processes: 

  • Develop practical “How-to” guides for managers, facilitating their effective use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). 
  • Collaborate on refining and standardizing job descriptions to ensure clarity and appeal to potential candidates. 
  • Manage job requisitions on various platforms to attract qualified candidates. 
  • Maintain prompt and informative communication with candidates and hiring managers to facilitate a positive recruitment experience. 
  • Proactively follow up with candidates to gather necessary information and ensure a smooth process. 
  • Contribute to special projects aimed at improving recruitment practices, such as compiling comprehensive contact lists and creating instructional videos. 

Onboarding and Compliance:

  • Manage YMCA staff memberships efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. 
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of Form I-9 verifications to maintain legal compliance. 
  • Train and support managers in accurately completing I-9 forms in accordance with regulations. 
  • Proactively address incomplete documentation or compliance tasks with managers and employees to ensure policy adherence. 
  • Reach out to candidates during onboarding to address incomplete tasks or missing documentation, ensuring a smooth transition. 
  • Provide clear instructions and support to candidates to efficiently fulfill all requirements. 
  • Communicate with hiring managers to facilitate timely completion and compliance of Form I-9 verifications. 
  • Offer guidance to hiring managers to ensure accurate and thorough verification processes. 
  • Contact employees with incomplete compliance trainings, reminding them of outstanding requirements and providing resources. 
  • Assist employees to fulfill compliance training obligations promptly. 
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Community Enterprise 

  • Proven track record of success in HR administration or related roles, demonstrating comprehensive understanding and application of HR processes and procedures. 
  • Experience navigating and utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR Information Systems (HRIS) to streamline recruitment processes and manage employee data effectively. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational prowess, adept at meticulously auditing processes and maintaining accurate inventory records. 
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual comfortable taking initiative to identify and address challenges, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, fostering positive working relationships. 
  • Capable of thriving both independently and as an integral member of a team, contributing expertise and support to achieve collective goals and objectives. 
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly skilled in leveraging Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to generate reports, analyze data, and deliver presentations effectively.

Pay Range

$18.00 per hour
