Mortgage Consultant Coordinator

Job Summary:

Mortgage Consultant Coordinator (MCC)is the primary liaison between the Loan Production Department (Consultants) and the Loan Operations Department (Processors) when the Consultants are in the field. They are also an Administrative Assistant to the Real Estate Production Department.

The Mortgage Consultant Coordinator will handle the Booking functions of all Real Estate Loans to include:

  • Mortgage Loan Application Deposits including Credit Card Deposit Reconciliation
  • Rate Lock Confirmation
  • Ordering File Documents:
  • Appraisals, AVM’s and RCR’s
  • Preliminary Title Reports or PERT policies
  • HOA Certifications for Condo’s and PUD’s
  • Environmental Reports for Multifamily Loans
  • Homeowners Insurance
  • Assigning a Processor
  • Tracking Documents ordered

The Mortgage Consultant Coordinator will provide Calendar Management:

  • Floor Schedules include email and voicemail queue’s.
  • Encompass (New Online Applications)
  • Home Buying Webinars and Seminars
  • MC Branch, Work Center, and Remote by day and time

The Mortgage Consultant Coordinator will work in concert with the Loan Production Manager to monitor the Pipeline:

  • Disclosure Tracking to stay in compliance.
  • Rate Lock timelines.
  • Contingency timelines on Purchases
  • Daily Booking Reports by Branch and Product

Other duties as assigned by Loan Production Manager

Essential Functions:

  • The MCC will book consultant’s daily loan submissions and generate daily booking report.
  • The MCC will help the consultants send out loan application packages, as needed.
  • The MCC will manage the monthly Real Estate Calendar for floor time, Encompass days, production meetings, Seminars and Webinars, etc.
  • The MCC will manage the monthly RE Branch Admin Calendar for weekly check-in calls, branch Seminars, Branch visits, etc.
  • The MCC will sort and distribute incoming mail and faxes on a daily basis.
  • The MCC will work closely with the Multifamily MC’s to order multifamily appraisals and environmental reports, coordinate inspection times, and follow up with the process.
  • The MCC will administer the secure email system daily in regard to the Loan Production and Loan Operation secure emails periodically throughout the day.
  • The MCC will assist management with quality service surveys of funded loans and report these findings directly to the Real Estate Production Manager for follow-up and customer retention.
  • The MCC will assist MC’s with communication between the branches, when needed
  • The MCC will complete the required BSA & OFAC training annually and understand and adhere to BSA & OFAC policies and procedures, including reporting suspicious activity.
  • The MCC will order office supplies when needed.
  • The MCC will work closely with Marketing to assist the MC’s with flyers and marketing material when requested.
  • The MCC will assist the MC’s and Production Manager with timeline management of the pipeline including disclosure compliance, rate lock expirations, and purchase contingencies.
  • The MCC will perform other duties as assigned by the Loan Production Manager.
  • The MCC must have excellent written communication, verbal communication, and listening skills.
  • The MCC must have the ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and be organized at all times.
  • The MCC will maintain a professional image and demonstrate standards consistent with Credit Union policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Work Experience/Skills & Abilities

  • High School Diploma required.
  • College degree in Business, Economics or related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of related experience, mortgage Loan knowledge (loan application, disclosures, etc.)
  • Must be able to coordinate multiple loans and various degrees of information for multiple consultants simultaneously.
  • Must have good working knowledge of California Credit Union laws, rules and regulations, as well as Provident Board Policies, NCUA Rules and Regulations, Real Estate Loan Policies and Procedures.
  • Proven ability to read, write and communicate at a level consistent with the requirements of this position.

Pay Grade is A3. This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus twice a year.

Targeted Base Pay $21.00 - $27.00/hour
