Objectives of the Position 

  • Fulfil the role of Operations Support Analyst for designated countries, for the organization’s Business Management Travel Services Team, by providing travel support for business travel related functions and tasks.

Main Tasks

  • Main point of contact for the country’s organization for travel related topics and escalation for all travel service-related topics.
  • Provide support to Regional Travel Manager on the end-to-end process of business travel topics for the countries travel needs and requirements.
  • Responsible for all external stakeholder country cluster responsibilities: e.g., Traveler Profile queries, invoice queries and reconciliation of vendor invoicing.
  • Communicate the organizations country and regional requirements to internal and external stakeholders on all country level topics.
  • Support Travel Arrangers and travelers on all travel related requests.
  • Conduct regular service reviews with the countries travel service providers.
  • Data – gather, monitor, analyze local in-country data details for regional analysis.
  • Monitor service levels locally, obtain feedback from travel arrangers / travelers on service provider services, when required escalate to Regional Travel Manager.
  • In conjunction with the Regional Travel Manager review travel data to identify areas of improvement on traveler behavior / patterns / compliance.
  • Main contact for country cluster internal stakeholders on travel topics e.g., compliance, finance, local procurement, projects, and implementations.
  • First line of operational communication/ escalation and stakeholder management
  • This role to be further enhanced to support transaction and processing of SAP transactions for Business Travel within BASF policies and local company legal and statutory requirements
  • Ensure no finance related disruptions to business

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

  • Education: Tertiary qualifications in Travel and tourism or related field (Diploma)
  • Working Experience: 3 years
  • Technical & Professional Knowledge:
  • Previous experience in travel management / hospitality industry is encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with travel related vendors
  • Language: English (Main), Preference: Mandarin / Cantonese (read / write)
  • Previous experience on an Online Booking Platform (advantageous) / SAP (advantageous)
  • PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Word
